The second song the band ever wrote. Alongside the release of their debut album, a 12” remix of the song by Rob Stevens (who mixed the rest of the album) was issued to clubs across the United States. This single, backed with a remix of Baby Appeal, was the band’s first ever single:

An earlier version of the song was recorded in May of 1983 during the band’s first demo session, with the band’s original lineup. There’s a good chance another demo was recorded early the next year at a different session, featuring Jack Sherman and Cliff Martinez on guitar and drums.
